Double Shift

Yesterday and today was really tiring! Yesterday I slept at about 4:00AM and then I woke up at 10:00AM to write down my training notes on my notebook. I have prepared myself for work at around 11:00AM. My shift would be at 2:00PM to 11:00PM. And we should be logged on 15 minuets before 2:00PM I was aware of what had happened in Makati. I heard about Trillanes.

I have left our house at around 12:15PM. I'm from Libertad, Pasay City and I have to ride the MRT from Taft Station (the very first station) to Araneta Station to go to Eastwood City Libis. I was shocked to see a lot of people in MRT. The lines are too long and I have to wait until I get my turn. I have been stranded at Taft Station for about 20 minutes. I'm in the traine for 30 minutes so I arrived at Araneta Station at around 1:15 and then I have to walk from Araneta Center up to PureGold where the Rosario jeepneys are waiting for passengers. The traffic is really high that time. I know that I will be late and I think that I will be on our office at exactly 2:00PM or 10 minutes before. So I waited and waited thinking that I will be avail to arrive at the office 15 minutes late. I'm not looking at my cellphones clock because its really advance so I was happy to enter IBM Plaza. But was shocked because of 1 elevator is not working. So I have to fall inline again and wait for the elevator to come down. I'm at ease that time that I will come at around 2:00PM to 2:15PM but when I saw the clock on our floor! It's quarter to 3:00PM! I was late for an hour! Huhuhu.

I was the last to arrived in our batch. Some of them are late but not that late like me. I was really rushing because I have to setup my computer and get ready for mock calls. But I didn't get any mock call yesterday. Instead we have been deployed to the floor for entertaining live calls from the US. Because a lot of engineers will not make it to the 9:00PM shift because of the curfew hours imposted by Pres. Gloria Arroyo.

We were suppose to have our live calls from 9:00PM to 11:00PM but when the curfew has been imposted, our managers let us choose if we can go home or we can stay. I will not be able to go home because it was really traffic and its already 8:30 that time. So I decided to stay and do live calls. We were lucky because it will be a double shift so I don't have to go to work this afternoon. We were treated ok on Trend Micro because we have free meals and they let us take a nap for 2 hours on a really cold conference room. We were back in the floor at around 5:00AM to take the APAC (Asia Pacific) calls.

This is our firs time to take live calls and we were very nervous yet excited. I have 3calls for US clients and 2 calls for APAC clients. I'm really lucky to have nice callers. One thing I don't like is taking calls from APAC (1 Australian and 1 from New Zealand) because its really hard to understand their accent regarding spelling out letters. But I have overcome my fear and face each calls even though I'm not feeling well because I have a cold and cough. Its really nine to hear people thanking you for helping them. But I hope I gave the right solutions for their problems. Hehehe. I'm still a newbie and I need a to learn a lot. Hope I can make it to the top!

The Amazing Race Asia 2

Yehey! Here's another favorite reality show of mine! The Amazing Race Asia. I have missed the first episode on AXN Asia but I'll definitely watch it on YouTube. Hehehe. I'm excited because the teams are going to our country. And we Filipinos should be proud of the 2 teams that will represent our country.

The Amazing Race Asia 2 is the second season of the reality television game show The Amazing Race Asia. The show features ten teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world to win US$100,000.

Once again, Allan Wu hosted the race. He also commented that the race will travel "very very far this time around", and that there would be more self driving from the teams. He also added that all the teams will not be clumped up together on the same flight as well as stated that new rules will also be implemented. For more info click here.

Death Clock

Hello. Sorry for the lack of entries. Here is another entry of mine. When I was doing a blog hopping I came across with this site The Death Clock from Fattybearyus's blog.

It's a site where you can input the required information about yourself and the site will let you see the year, the month and the day when you'll gonna die. Scary isn't it? I have tried it and here is the result.

I don't believe in this but who knows? We don't know when we'll leave this world. But I think each of us should live our lives to the fullest. Only God knows.

Resident Evil: Extinction

Hello guys! Long time no blog! Hehehe! I'm here to tell you about Resident Evil: Extinction. I didn't get the chance to watch it on the big screen so I decided to buy a DVD of it at the Harrison Plaza and I'm lucky that my copy is a DVD copy. Like I said I really like horror movies. I'm really interested in watching this because I have played the Resident Evil game in PlayStation.

The story is quite good. The actors and actresses really rock, especially the lead character Alice which is played by Milla Jovovich. I like Claire Redfield also! The effects are really great and the zombies are really scary! It adapts several plot elements from Resident Evil: Code Veronica (Video Game) and features various characters and creatures from the game series. The film is a departure from the usually dark and drab locations of other zombie films as it takes place in the Mojave desert wilderness.

All in all the movie was great. But I have some questions. Where did Jill Valentine go? The movie doesn't mention anything about her. I think that the movie would be great if Jill was still on the cast. But I hope that other characters like Jill Valentine should be on the next sequel. According to Wikipedia this would be the last installment for the movie but I think that there is a sequel. The last part of the movie shows that there is a sequel. I hope and I will be waiting for it. For more information in this movie click here.

This Past Few Days

Hello! I'm here again. Just want to tell you all what had happened to me this past few days. I was really tired this past few days its because of the training. Last Monday was the last day of our Soft Skills training. It is intended for the assessment of each one of us. So I was really nervous that time. We have taken a written exam and then after that we undergo a defense about our essay. Our schedule that time was 09:00PM to 06:00AM. And we will be informed of the result on the next day which is Tuesday. And we have an schedule of 3:00PM to 12:00AM. So we have no sleep. I have slept for about 2 hours. I was really tired and nervous of the result.

Manuals And Notebook

My Trend Micro Name Tag

The result was given to us before we go home. And I'm happy to say that I've passed! Hehehe. But I'm really sorry for the my other co-trainees who didn't make it. I was wishing that all of us will pass the training but they got eliminated. I hope that they will find a new job as soon as possible. Right now we are in the Product Training and I will do my best not to be eliminated. So please pray for me!

The Amazing Race 12

Yehey! The Amazing Race is my most favorite reality shows. Not only it shows the sceneries of different countries, it also shows the importance of cooperation and trust with each other. This reality show is really exciting to watch. It's like you're one of the contestants while you're watching it. You'll never know what will be the outcome of the race.

Actually, I started watching The Amazing Race in its fifth season. When the teams have gone here in the Philippines. It was really interesting and I was really grateful when they say a lot of good things about our country.

The Amazing Race 12 is the twelfth installment of the popular five time Emmy Award winning reality television show The Amazing Race. The Amazing Race 12 features 11 teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world. I have watched half of the first episode this morning at Studio 23 because my cellphone didn't alarm. I don't know yet which team I'll be routing for. So I will be watching it from start to end.
